Booking Options

What are the different booking options?
Providers can sell their spaces in 4 different ways:
  1. Full sessions - children can only be booked into the full session, not for periods of the session. For example, if the session runs from 9am to 5pm, a child can only be booked in for that period of time.
  2. Half sessions - children can be booked into one half of the session; or two halves of the session. For example, if your session runs from 9am to 5pm, you can choose the specific times for the "half" sessions. You could split this session up into two: from 9am to 12:30pm and from 12:30pm to 5pm.
  3. Hourly - children can be booked into a session flexibly - for the times they need. For example, if the session runs from 9am to 5pm, a child can be booked in from 10:15am to 14:30. You can however select a "Minimum time bookable" - for example, if this was set to 3 hours, a child can only be booked into the session for a minimum period of 3 hours.
  4. Block - a block booking is for sessions that occur more than once and where the provider requires a degree of commitment from the parent/child. For example, this could be a weekly drama class that ends in a performance, or weekly football training sessions with matches at the weekends. In this situation, the child won't be booked in for a specific session, they will be booked in for all occurances of this session.
