CONNECTING
TO A SERVICE
Once you have registered, which
you can do here:
https://app.caerus.scot/auth/login
and added your and your child’s details onto Caerus (please make sure you add
your full address and not just your postcode, it is not always clear that you
have to do this, you will see this screen:
If you know which service you want to connect to, you can do
this by typing the name of the service into the box at the top of the screen
entitled Search for a service or session. If you don’t know which service you require
you can use the search bar below to search by postcode or location.
Once you have found the service
you require you will see a purple box to the right, under the services profile
picture.
If you have not logged in already, log in and
then go back to this page. It will change from saying “Log in to create
an enquiry” to “Create an Enquiry. If you click on this you should get
the option to tick your child’s name and then select the days you want the
child to attend. It is not important which days and times you select, just
select at least one day and either AM or PM.
This will send an enquiry to the
service provider. They will receive then be able to accept the enquiry,
or contact you to discuss your child’s requirements. Once your enquiry has been accepted by the
service you will receive an email saying you are now connected to the
service. At this stage, I would recommend that you log out of Caerus and
log back in again so that the system recognises that you are now connected.
